BRIEF
To direct, shoot and post-produce a 15” commercial for Bliipi Toys.
PROCESS
Following the triumph of our Cocomelon ad, The Smalls threw us a curveball – another 15” spot, this time for Blippi Toys and a studio shoot. Cue our lively actor, Jesse, who willingly dived into the world of Blippi. It was a straightforward studio gig, where the Blippi Toys took the spotlight. We jazzed things up with animated graphics, showing off the toys in action. Simple shoot, big fun, and Jesse stole the show!
ANIMATIC + STORYBOARDS
Like any great adventure, our project kicked off with a storyboard, which was then turned into an animatic. We knew the toys needed the spotlight. Framing the imagery became our playbook, figuring out each setup. On set though, the toys didn't quite play ball as we’d planned, refusing to be quite as fluid as we needed them to be in order to capture all their features within our tight timeframe. Quick thinking and an accommodating superstar, we managed to save the day, allowing us to manage what we had aimed for.
