Description:
The inspiration for this video drew from Sin City and Frank Miller graphic novels. Our aim was to craft a narrative centered on Mumzy's quest for his Showgirl—an elusive woman who haunts him while navigating the intricacies of the music business.
PROCESS
After the successful pitch, we commenced the production. We organised a green screen shoot and gathered a crew, aware that principal photography would entail replacing the green screen with various environments. Collaborating closely with Mumzy, we refined the choreography and developed a storyboard to meticulously plan the required shots.
Following the filming of the action sequences, we created the plates within After Effects using photographs captured during a location shoot in London.
In the editing process, we manipulated the green screen shots to weave the narrative, and then initiated the compositing of sequences. This involved blending the shot footage with graphic novel backgrounds, incorporating 3D camera moves to breathe life into the scenes.
