The future belongs to the upcoming generations. Nuveen, an investment management company, has a forward-thinking approach. The essence of this film is to showcase Nuveen's commitment to investing in the future, encompassing both industry advancements and the well-being of future generations.
PROCESS
From the outset, the vision was to shoot this in a blacked-out studio and enhance it with visual effects. Our journey began with concept designs and storyboards to shape the visual interaction of our young actress with the graphics.
The casting process held significant importance to ensure that our talented young actress could not only act but also envision these visuals within the space.
Prior to the shoot, we crafted the graphics and collaborated closely with David McDowall, DOP, to design a lighting rig that would replicate the graphics, illuminating the scene.
VFX
After completing the shoot, we started the editing process. We had strategically mapped out the gaze of our young actress for various shots, shaping the edit accordingly. Once we were happy with our shot selection, we proceeded to integrate the visuals and construct our environment.
The film required extensive compositing work, but the designed lighting played a crucial role in seamlessly integrating the motion graphics within each scene.
