BRIEF:
BBC Comedy Show Watson & Oliver geared up for its second series, spurred by the realization that the first series fell short of their anticipated success. Seeking a fresh perspective and a revamped show style, they brought us on board to encapsulate the essence of their series.

PROCESS:
We had the privilege of attending several recorded live shows, getting a glimpse of numerous scripts and concepts nestled within the vibrant spectacle. The show itself was a delightful medley, boasting an assortment of endearing and humorous characters, each seamlessly woven into the fabric of the narrative. As we delved into initial discussions, the notion of embracing these diverse characters and elements within the opening became the crux of our brainstorming. Thus, we embarked on crafting a lively collage, infusing explosive elements into each scene, aiming to encapsulate the essence of this eclectic ensemble.

Ingrid and Lorna enthusiastically embraced the concept, prompting us to initiate the assembly of various essential elements. We swiftly arranged a greenscreen photo session ahead of one of their live performances, swiftly gathering a diverse range of assets. Our toolkit expanded, encompassing everything from snapshots of props to capturing live moments, such as exploding biscuits, alongside crafting character illustrations, and more.
