BRIEF:

Oliver reached out to us with a captivating project: to design the titles for his upcoming feature film, "Around The Sun." The film follows a location scout who finds herself enamoured with the guide showing her around a potential filming location. As he shares the tale of a significant book penned in that very place, their connection deepens. Oliver envisioned integrating etched illustrations reminiscent of those found in a book on star-gazing and astrology, adding a touch of enchantment to the titles.

PROCESS:

Upon receiving the script, we engaged in discussions with Oliver to identify the pivotal moments and chapter headings integral to the film. Our team delved into extensive research, exploring various astrological illustrations and diagrams. Drawing inspiration from these, we crafted our designs, assigning a distinct diagram to each chapter, ensuring a cohesive and visually compelling narrative flow.

CREDITS:

We applied the same designs for the credit sequence that ran at the end of the film, incorporating the cast and crew within the illustrations before the rolling credits.
